Hire car and toll charges
Hire firms sometimes charge for damage you didn't cause, or add fees you didn't expect. We're building a check and dispute letters for these, and for toll penalties like the Dart Charge.

What you should know now
- You're entitled to see the evidence: the check-out and return reports, dated photos and an itemised repair cost.
- Unfair terms in a consumer contract aren't binding on you (Consumer Rights Act 2015).
- Since April 2025, fees you can't avoid must be in the headline price.
- The Dart Charge fine is £70, or £35 if paid within 14 days.
How it will work
- Upload the charge and your own photos.
- We check whether the charge is backed by evidence and fits your agreement.
- If it doesn't, we write your dispute letter.
